STÖRTE.PRIESTER: With young rock talent, these four young musicians from Penzberg, Bavaria, present themselves and their debut album „Scheinheilig“. Right from the start they’re hammering your ears, musically and verbally, and you won’t believe that all the band members are really in their early twenties. And with their sound they have incidentially created a new style in rock-“Streetrock”. Sociocritical but unpolitical lyrics combined with fat guitar riffs, roaring basses and heavy drums give the music a hymn-like characters. Additional positive significance has to be put on the fact that all compositions and lyrics were written by them. STÖRTE.PRIESTER are definitivly not conformists and as take a look at the society around them through a microscope, they reveal the concealed rejections below the surface. They deliberatlly want to put their fingers into societys wounds, while using everyday stories which are known by everybody in one way or another. Then they pick them up and make a musical theme out of it. Naturally they provoke, because who wants to be held up to a mirror. In doing so, they’re a musical treat that comes in the highest quality and professionalism. If you’re a rock fan, you’ve never experienced such a sound and it has never before been done by an upcoming band. Established rock bands or artists dared to do it after they had become well known. But nobody wanted to take the risk of saying exactly what they think on their debut CD. With “Scheinheilig” provocation is not the only propram. Anybody who likes rock will love STÖRTE.PRIESTER.
